Actualmente es profesor del Departamento de Econom\u00eda Aplicada de la Universitat de Val\u00e8ncia. Sus \u00e1reas de especializaci\u00f3n son la econom\u00eda de la educaci\u00f3n, el capital humano, el desarrollo humano, el mercado de trabajo y la econom\u00eda social, sobre los que ha publicado 95 libros y cap\u00edtulos de libro, as\u00ed como 16 art\u00edculos en revistas nacionales e internacionales. Ha participado en ciento cuatro proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n.
