The Network of Young Social Economy Researchers (REJIES) will hold its VI Meeting on December 1-2 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, at the University of La Laguna, parallel to the ENUIES Network Congress of Institutes and University Research Centres in Social Economy. According to the Young Researchers Network, the VI REJIES Meeting is an invitation to reflect on and share advances made in the early stages of an academic career in the field of Social Economy, and therefore calls for the submission of papers.

The activities at this VI Meeting will include the presentation of papers to fellow doctoral students, a seminar on how to publish in Spanish Social Economy scientific journals, and a special session where young researchers can present their work to renowned Social Economy researchers from ENUIES, aiming to receive feedback to help improve and continue their scientific work.

To participate in this VI Meeting, registration is required through this form.

Those interested in participating must send an abstract to by October 16. These abstracts should include the name and affiliation of the authors, be written in Spanish, and be no longer than 2 pages, including references.

The submissions will be evaluated by the scientific committee of the Meeting, which will assess the relevance of the topic to Social Economy, its scientific quality, and the research objectives. Acceptance or rejection of the abstracts will be communicated on October 23, indicating whether the work will be presented as a paper or a poster.

SHARING RESOURCES, EXPERIENCES, AND TRAINING SINCE 2014

Eight years ago, the journey of the Network of Young Social Economy Researchers (REJIES) began within CIRIEC-Spain. The purpose of this network is to bring together young researchers in the field of Social Economy to create a dialogue forum that allows sharing resources, experiences, and training.

The network promotes meetings that allow for the dissemination of research results, as well as the sharing of training and methodologies. The success of the five meetings held so far in different locations in Spain is a testament to this: Zaragoza (I meeting, 2014), Madrid (II meeting, 2015), Valencia (III meeting, 2016), Santiago de Compostela (IV meeting, 2017), and Seville (V meeting, 2019). The network's actions focus on three main areas: the dissemination of research results, training, and strengthening the network as a tool for Social Economy research.

REJIES now invites participation in the VI Meeting of Young Social Economy Researchers, which will be held within the framework of the II ENUIES Network Congress.
