Promoted by CIRIEC-Spain and IUDESCOOP, and based on the same methodology as CIRIECSTAT, the launch of VALESTAT aims to increase the visibility of the social economy in the Valencian Community by collecting suitable, homogeneous, and comparable data and statistics.

The CIRIEC-Spain Online Directory of Researchers has already completed two years, during which it has successfully collected data from over 600 Social Economy researchers from Spain and numerous other countries.

As announced two years ago, the Tecnocampus of Mataró will once again host the CIRIEC-Spain Congress of Researchers, since the Congress held there in September 2020, during the height of the pandemic, was able to take place but was affected by COVID-19, resulting in reduced participation and a smaller program than usual.

The Network of Young Social Economy Researchers (REJIES) will hold its VI Meeting on December 1-2 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, at the University of La Laguna, parallel to the ENUIES Network Congress of Institutes and University Research Centres in Social Economy.
